They play regularly in the bars around town, and their exciting Joe Val showcase set in 2012 propelled them to open for the Seldom Scene and play the Joe Val main stage (and other New England Festivals) the following year. Twisted Pine

Twisted Pine is a wild and unpredictable bluegrass band delivering powerful vocals, hard-driving rhythms, and virtuosic musicianship.  The band formed while studying at Berklee College of Music.  In 2014 Twisted Pine won both the FreshGrass and Thomas Point Beach Beach band competitions and, in 2015, caused the first-ever sudden death upset at RockyGrass band competition in Colorado.  We are very pleased to welcome them back for a sample of their latest sounds. Cricket Tell the Weather

Based in the greater NYC area, Cricket Tell the Weather is a five-piece indie string band featuring bluegrass-inspired original music.
