The Revenants in Concert!

Amazing Things Arts Center

Bluegrass Gospel Project alums Taylor Armerding, Andy Greene, and Kirk Lord have come together to present original, time-honored, and contemporary Americana music to venues throughout New England. Showcasing compelling, intricately braided vocals, richly textured instrumental work, and solid, innovative rhythm, the three band members bring decades of performing experience to the stage. Through their many years of musical collaboration, they speak soulfully with one voice. It’s a new day, and The Revenants have arrived. We’d love to share our musical stories with you.

Say Darling

The Spire Center for the Performing Arts 25 Court Street , Plymouth, MA

Grammy-Nominated singer and songwriter Celia Woodsmith – of the acclaimed bluegrass band Della Mae – and critically lauded guitarist Chris Hersch of the alt. country rock band Girls Guns & Glory, had each independently decided to relax their rigorous schedules, both ending up back home in New England with time on their hands. These two road warriors and workaholics didn't last long before delving into a new and exciting project: Say Darling. Say Darling will get you off your chair and dancing, or keep you spellbound with evocative vocals and performances.

Join WCMS for an acoustic evening of Americana classics – blues, Bluegrass, and classic hits that twang! This jam session offers a great entry level experience for those who want to learn how to play with each other in a jam setting, as well as being appropriate for more accomplished or advanced players. Songs are projected onto a screen to help you follow along, and host Steve Latanision will be on hand to help with chords and scales. We'll start with 20-30 well known Americana genre tunes to choose from (including Angel from Montgomery, Old Joe Clark, Will the Circle Be Unbroken, Friend of the Devil, and Rider). You can add your own favorite song if you bring a legible lead sheet.
