Barnstar! began as the brainchild of Zachariah Hickman (bassist for Josh Ritter, musical director for Ray Lamontagne) for a local bluegrass supergroup featuring some of Boston’s best musicians and songwriters. Using the familiar tools of the genre—guitar (Mark Erelli), fiddle (Jake Armerding), mandolin (Taylor Armerding) and banjo (Charlie Rose)—Barnstar! forges its own brand of song- based bluegrass, gloriously harmonized and raucously played.

David Peterson is a unique performer, whose passion for traditional music is matched by his powerful and authentic voice and guitar playing. He has released several acclaimed albums, including traditional bluegrass, country music, and bluegrass gospel. Many of music’s biggest stars relish the opportunity to play this traditional music with him, including the likes of Sam Bush, David Grisman, Stuart Duncan, Paul Franklin, Dennis Crouch, Charlie Cushman, Michael Cleveland, and Bryan Sutton.  

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present an evening of contemporary bluegrass and folk music with The Lonely Heartstring Band and The Stockwell Brothers at Next Stage on Saturday, November 24 at 7:30 pm. he "Christmas In New England" Concert Tour will kick off its 15th season this December. The 2018 Christmas Concert Tour will include a total of five concerts in three states (NH, MA, CT). This one of a kind Christmas show features a seasonal blend of traditional, contemporary, and original Christmas music performed with acoustic instruments and vocals. The cast of performers include some of the most talented musicians, vocalists and songwriters in the New England region: Amy Gallatin, Karen Lincoln Wilber, Dave Dick, Roger Williams, Ken Taylor, Krissy Dick, Bob Dick & Rick Lang. Together they put together a unique performance guaranteed to entertain and dazzle audiences wherever they play. "Christmas In New England" is fast becoming an annual tradition all across New England. This lively upbeat concert offers a welcome relief from the Holiday rush, providing simple moments to treasure, and a chance to slow down and savor the season. The cast of performers include some of the most talented musicians, vocalists and songwriters in the New England region: Amy Gallatin, Karen Lincoln Wilber, Dave Dick, Roger Williams, Ken Taylor, Krissy Dick, Bob Dick & Rick Lang.  Ken, Krissy and Bob are members of the church and live in Northbridge.
