Y'all come! March 18 at The Eliot Church of Newton, UCC Join us for a Bluegrass Fundraiser featuring a Chili Supper at 6:00pm and the Birch Hill Ramblers at 7:00pm. Proceeds will support Newton's CAN-DO - Affordable Housing & the Newton DREAM FAR high school marathon club. $15 for chili and the concert; $10 for concert only; $50 cap for a family of four or more. Seldom Scene BBU concert in Lexington

Seldom Scene is always a favorite band in the Boston area.  They have been featured at Joe Val several times, and are always a big draw when they play our concert series.  They have been playing great, and inventive bluegrass music for decades.  Don't miss this chance to come out and see them.  They put on a great show!  The opening band is Sick, Sad, and Lonesome, who got rave reviews at the Showcase Stage at the latest Joe Val festival.
