The Kevin Prater Band at Nick-A-Nees

The Kevin Prater Band from Belcher, KY. is looking forward to once again playing at Nick-A-Nees in Providence, RI.  Kevin Prater has entertained in 24 Countries in his 39 year career.  Additionally he has played extensively throughout the USA and Canada.  Kevin spent twelve years as Mandolin Player and High Tenor Vocalist in The James King Band.  During that time he was part of Many award winning recorded projests, including two, "Album Of The Year", "Song of the Year" and "Recorded Event of the Year".  He was also nominated as "Banjo Player of the Year" during his three years with The Bluegrass Brothers. Currently in the 12th year leading The Kevin Prater Band throughout the USA and Canada, averaging 100 shows annually.  Their latest CD, "All I Ever Wanted" was #65 on the top 200 World Wide Roots Music Charts for 2018, recorded on Patuxent Music.
