Joe Val’s Vendor Expo provides you an ideal opportunity to meet and support many of the New England luthiers and shop owners who support bluegrass music in the northeast. We have invited a number of independent luthiers from throughout the area to share with you their unique designs and craftsmanship. Feel free to try out different instruments, discuss a repair, or ask questions about what they are aiming to achieve with their instrument designs. Many of the area’s most supportive shop owners will also be back providing everything you need for late night jamming, instructional material to help you improve your skill level and enjoyment, and instruments made by national manufacturers. You can even learn about area music camps and festivals, have that minor instrument repair or setup done while you are enjoying the shows, explore types of pickups that will enhance and amplify your sound, or purchase some photographs from area artists for your home.
The Expo will be open on the lower level in and directly outside the Ashland Room on Friday from 5:00-8:00pm, on Saturday from 10:00am-8:00pm, and again on Sunday from 10:00am-4:00pm.
