As someone who didn't get into the Sheraton this year and staying at an overflow hotel, I made some calls this afternoon to the 4 local cab companies about transportation to and from the festival.

Marriott Residence Inn, Framingham to/from Sheraton: about $9 Marriott Courtyard, Natick to/from Sheraton: about $21 plus $1 per passenger (if more than 2), maximum number of passengers: Sedan 3, Mini-van 5
Hours: Fri 5am - 1am, Sat and Sun 5am - 2am

In Massachusetts cab rates are set by each town,
one Framingham company said $3/mile
[plus waiting time at less than about 10-20 mph],
my guess in that Natick is probably about the same,
so the Marriott Residence Inn estimates might be high,
and the Natick Courtyard are probably about right.

Distances (going the shortest way - see below):
Marriott Residence, Framingham to Sheraton: about 1 mile
Marriott Courtyard, Natick to Sheraton: about 6.5 miles
The Sheraton entrance is from Worcester Rd (MA-9) westbound.
There is also an unmarked 'westside' entrance from California Av
which is shorter than changing directions on MA-9 when
coming from the Marriott Residence, Framingham
or going to the Marriott Courtyard, Natick
Go through the parking lot parallel to MA-9 to/from the Sheraton,
use Google Maps' satellite, or MapQuest's aerial, view to see:
from: 1657 Worcester Rd, Framingham, MA
to: 2 California Av, Framingham MA
II would suggest,
(having lived in the area for more than 30 years,
with 20 years as a cab driver and dispatcher in both Boston and Newton)
that Tommy Taxi, the dominant and most local company in the area,
would probably give the best service,
Natick Cab would be my second choice.
Do be sure you go the short way (see above),
and a 20% or better tip is appropriate,
especially to/from the Marriott Residence, Framingham,
and/or with the cab full.
Also I wouldn't count on it (for late night service),
but it is possible that some cabs might operate late,
perhaps independently of their dispatcher,
and could be found waiting at the Sheraton, rather than be calling.
