We have a great lineup of national and regional talent, expanded workshops, Kid’s Academy, music vendors, and round-the-clock jamming. Our 2006 event won the coveted “Event of the Year” award from the International Bluegrass Music Association.

Joe Val Hotel Update:   The Sheraton Hotel is sold out.  We opened up sales on Tuesday, November 17 2015 at 7pm EST and sold out in one minute.

As in the past, we have reserved a limited number of rooms at wonderful nearby hotels (since the Sheraton always sells out quickly).

We host paid Master Class and Fast Track! classes, held during the day on Friday (before the festival begins). We also offer free instrument, vocal, jamming, and music business workshops during the festival.

Master classes include Greg Cahill (banjo), Dan Eubanks (bass), Rick Faris (guitar), and August Watters (mandolin).

Fast Track classes include Rich Stillman (banjo), Andy Katz (Dobro), Lorraine Hammond (beginning singing), Ellen Carlson (fiddle), Flynn Cohen (guitar), and Tony Watt (bluegrass jamming).

Festival Workshops
